İPEK MOBİLYA İML. İTH. İHR. SAN.ve TİC. A.Ş ÇİNKOM BRANCH was established as a public joint stock company under the name of ÇİNKUR in 1968 and started production in 1976 in order to meet the zinc and lead need of the country by evaluating the oxidized zinc lead ores in the Zamantı region and thus contribute to the country's economy.
In 1996, within the scope of privatization, "Kayseri Maden Metal A.Ş." 80% of it was sold to a company belonging to the Ministry of Mining of Iran and changed hands. The aforementioned company operated until about 1999 and the factory was last purchased by İpek Group of Companies in late 2004.
Until the end of 2015, ÇINKOM A.Ş. and at the end of 2015 İPEK MOBİLYA A.Ş. and İPEK MOBİLYA İML. İTH. İHR. SAN.ve TİC. A.Ş continues its activities as ÇİNKOM BRANCH.
